Prototype development
A new part starts with a development sample. You try it in the assembly. Production of the bulk quantity waits on that check.
What it is
A first piece, or a short development run, so you can fit the spring before we coil thousands. This is charged. It is how a unit of this size takes a new part without guessing the assembly.
How it works
You send a drawing or an unused sample. We quote within 24 hours, including any development charge. We coil the sample, stress-relieve it, grind ends if specified, and send it for you to try. When you approve it, we run the bulk quantity.
When to use it
A new design, a copy from a worn sample, or a quantity below 5,000–10,000 pcs. Do not skip the sample if the spring is critical or tight-tolerance — that is the reason buyers come here.
Limits
We do not advertise “low MOQ” or free prototypes. Smaller runs are possible; they are charged. Wire stays Ø 0.40–2.50 mm.
