Capability

Reverse engineering from a sample

No drawing is fine. Send the unused spring if you still have one. We measure it and quote within 24 hours.

What it is

Copying a spring from a physical part when there is no drawing. We do this. It is a confirmed capability, not a marketing line.

How it works

You send the spring — unused if you have one — and say where it lives and what it has to do. We take the dimensions we need to coil a replacement, quote within 24 hours, and make a development piece for you to try. The bulk lot waits on that check.

A used spring has often taken set. Copying its free length blindly will sit short. Tell us the pocket or the load you still need.

When to use it

A broken instrument spring, an MCB part with no drawing, a furniture mechanism whose maker is gone. If the wire is inside Ø 0.40–2.50 mm, it is regular work.

Limits

Wire Ø 0.40–2.50 mm. Usual minimum 5,000–10,000 pcs, with development charges on a smaller run. Rolling-shutter and heavier springs sit outside this range.

Questions

Can you make a spring from a sample?
Yes. Send an unused spring if you still have one, and tell us where it is used. We measure it and quote within 24 hours.
What if I only have a worn spring?
We can still read wire, OD and the end type. Free length and load will be short if the spring has taken set. Say so, and give the pocket it has to fill.

Request for quotation

Send your drawing or sample. Get a quote within 24 hours.

Tell us the spring type, quantity and what it has to do. Our usual minimum order is 5,000–10,000 pcs; smaller development runs are charged.
