Instrumentation springs

Light, precise springs for instruments and control gear. The same 0.40–2.50 mm wire we use on the rest of the floor.

Light springs, tight pockets

Instrumentation is one of the industries we serve. The parts are small: a return on a pointer, a bias on a switch, a light compression spring in a sensor housing. Wire toward the bottom of our Ø 0.40–2.50 mm range is common.

Level and flow instruments are a typical home for these springs.

What to send

A dimensioned drawing is best. If you only have the old spring, send an unused one — a used instrument spring has often taken set, and copying that length will sit short in the assembly. Say where it lives (oil, outdoor, a sealed box) so we can pick hard-drawn or stainless.

The quote is from the drawing or the sample. You try the development piece in the instrument before we run the bulk quantity.

Limits

Wire Ø 0.40–2.50 mm. Usual minimum 5,000–10,000 pcs. Quote within 24 hours. Ex-works Talawade. Across India; no export.

Questions

How small a wire can you coil?
Down to 0.40 mm. That is the bottom of our standard range. Below that, ask — it is outside what we treat as regular work.
Can you copy an instrument spring from a sample?
Yes. Send an unused spring if you still have one. We measure it and quote within 24 hours.
What is the minimum order?
Usually 5,000–10,000 pcs. Smaller development runs are charged.
