Catalogue
Wire Ø 0.40–2.50 mm. Torsion and double torsion are the largest share of what leaves our unit. Every part is made to your drawing or sample.
01 · Types
Legs rotate around the coil axis to store and return torque.
Two opposite-wound coils joined by a centre loop for balanced torque.
Close-wound springs that resist pulling, with a hook or loop at each end.
02 · How to choose
If the part twists around a pin or shaft, start with a torsion spring. If both sides of a hinge must push together, that is usually a double torsion spring with a centre loop.
If the part pulls, you want a tension / extension spring and you must specify the hooks. If it pushes, you want a compression spring — or a conical spring when the solid height has to be very short.
Clips, hooks and pins that are not a helix are wire forms.
We do not make rolling-shutter springs, agriculture springs, or anything above 2.50 mm wire. If you are unsure, send the old part. We will tell you what it is.
